I am over 50. I don’t think I look 50ish. But I think young. One can still look good at middle age. The trick is to use your imagination and the other ways to make yourself look younger. Pantyhose in coffee or tights hide the imperfections on the legs. Makeup of course will cover your pretty face of the tiny little bit of imperfections we all have. We tend to dress up for ourselves mostly. I admit that I am a bit of a tart using a bit more lip gloss on my lips than most people. I also like to wear high heels at least 6 inches tall, usually platform pumps. Dresses a slight short, at least 4 inches above the knee.

Heard about this book some time ago. It’s by John Pepper and I believe is now out of print. Story, as far as I can recall, is about one man’s trials as a transvestite. The term crossdresser was not in common use at the time (1970s, I think). Second hand copies were available on Amazon at one time. but I can’t find it now.
Any of you girls come across it? Love to hear from you if you have.

I’m at home alone trying on a new skirt and matching top that just arrived from Amazon. I had completely forgotten the plumber was due that afternoon. As I adjusted my stockings, trying to attach the rear clasp, I heard a voice behind saying: “I didn’t think anyone wore suspenders any more. I prefer tights.”
I was shocked and shaking with fright as he stood there smiling. “It’s OK. I enjoy dressing too,” he said. “I think you’ve great legs for a guy.”
I relaxed and thanked him for the compliment.
“Let me help you.”
He came over and placed his hands on my leg, reaching up under my knickers to catch the suspender and attach it. “That’s better, he said, pulling me towards him and kissing me gently. He caressed my body and said “Shall we?” pointing to the bed.
“Oh yes,” I sighed. ” Be gentle with me.”
He was.
